Wedding Photography Services

The Big Day

As a photo-journalist and portrait photographer, Christophe is interested in the artful description of the emotion and story of your extraordinary day.  He spends most of the wedding day being invisible and capturing candid photographs; however, he will certainly take formal portraits as well.  Your wedding day will be expertly captured on film for you to share for generations to come.

Engagement Session

The time of a couple’s engagement is so magical –the anticipation of the couple’s life together is exciting while the love they share is palpable.  The engagement session is the perfect time to capture this magic on film before the big wedding day.  This session focuses on the relationship as the centerpiece of the photograph, not the wedding gown and rings.

Our unique engagement session runs roughly two hours in two to three locations.  There are so many gorgeous locations from which to choose:  Baker Beach with the Golden Gate Bridge as a backdrop, the iconic rotunda on the lagoon at the Palace of Fine Arts, the famous Haight-Ashbury neighborhood with its brightly painted graffiti, the South of Market District (SOMA) with its rough and tumble cityscape, the elegant old-world architecture at the Legion of Honor, or a gorgeous vineyard view in Wine Country.  The possibilities are endless.

Of course, we can always include a location that is special for your relationship –where you were engaged, where you had your first date, or a place where you love to spend time together.  This is a wonderful way to begin documenting your life as a couple.

This is a special package for die-hard romantics who want nothing more than a short and sweet, mid-week wedding ceremony with minimal guests.  For the couple who is having a civil ceremony at San Francisco City Hall, or an intimate ceremony at a Napa Winery.

“Why don’t we just elope?”  crosses many peoples minds –forget all the glitz and glitter, the cast of thousands, and the planning that takes months.  Just the word “elope” connotes an incredibly romantic notion, and we love the idea of the small and romantic, (sometimes secret) wedding.  We can customize a package just for you.  Our rates for elopements are very reasonable, so please do call to find out more.

Trash the Dress

Trash the dress photo-shoots have become incredibly popular, and frankly, they are an absolute blast.  We schedule a date well after the wedding day to have a photo-shoot where the bride and groom literally –get down and dirty with their formal wear.  With this shoot, we have artistic license to do some avant-garde photographs when the couple is not worried about keeping their clothes pristine.

We have had trash the dress photo-shoots at the beach, in the city, in the woods, in the pool, and in the creek behind our Napa studio.  There are many, many possibilities for these shoots --we can simply let our imaginations run wild.

Some of our favorite wedding photographs are “trash the dress” photographs  --and frankly, all couples should seriously consider this incredible opportunity to capture some amazing images. And to be honest, we have not to date, ruined a wedding gown –nothing a dry cleaner can’t fix.  So why not have some fun and do some really creative wedding photographs?  They are sure to be some of your favorites.

Newly Wed Session

This session for the bride and groom can be scheduled either the days immediately preceding the wedding, or following your return from the honeymoon.  We will shoot either on location or in studio, and the focus of this session will be on the relationship between the couple with out the distractions the wedding day may have.  The newly wed session is one of our favorites.

Candid Marriage Proposal

This is the ultimate in capturing romantic moments: a secret photography session of the actual wedding proposal. Wedding proposal sessions have become incredibly popular recently especially in Wine Country. This is a lovely way to document your wedding proposal to share with generations to come.
